What to expect

A group meeting lasting 30-40 minutes, starting with a guided mindfulness meditation, then opportunity for intention setting and group check-in/discussion.


  • Give your attention to the practice session, silencing devices before joining the meeting.

  • Join the meeting from a quiet place, as practicable.

  • Keep your camera on during the guided practice and group discussion.

  • Respect others in the group by not offering advice and only speaking from your own experience.

  • Avoid using the chat option to support sustained attention.

  • Recognising the importance of care for others and ourselves, please know that if you have to leave the meeting because you need to tend to something or someone, this is understood and we look forward to seeing you next time.

What you will need

To allow this to be an interactive experience, this group uses Zoom which is video conferencing technology. To join, you will need access to the following:

  • a computer, smartphone, tablet or similar device with speakers, microphone, and video capabilities

  • a high-speed internet connection

  • Zoom (free video conference application)
    when you click the ‘Join the online mindfulness group on Zoom’ link above (which you can do at any time), Zoom automatically prompts you to download the application (which works best) or run in a browser (OK, but has more limited functionality)
